The basis for the CCDDB's mission and policies is the Community Care for Persons with Developmental Disabilities Act, 50 Illinois Compiled Statutes 835. The basis for the CCMHB's mission and policies is the Community Mental Health Act, 405 Illinois Compiled Statutes 20. To promote a system of supports and services for Champaign County, Illinois residents, the Boards also support: 211 information and referral through PATH; program evaluation support by researchers at UIUC; monthly learning opportunities for service providers and interested parties; Cultural and Linguistic Competence training; Mental Health First Aid training; anti-stigma awareness and support for artists with lived experience or a disability; and an annual disABILITY Resource Expo.

Notification of Funding Availability – Champaign County Mental Health Board (CCMHB)/ Champaign County Board for Care and Treatment of Persons with a Developmental Disability (CCDDB) - The two funding sources utilize an online system for submission of funding requests for contract years beginning July 1 and ending June 30. Applicants register on the site prior to requesting funding, and if awarded a contract, will submit required reports on this system. Per an approved, publicly available timeline, the system was available for registration and application up to February 7 at 4:30 PM, with no consideration of late applications. Final allocation decisions will be made prior to July 1, 2020.
